WebActive Living Every Day is an evidence-based behavior change program. Our approach is unique because it addresses the root causes of inactivity rather than simply prescribing exercise. Participants learn the skills they need to become and stay physically active. These skills include: Identifying and addressing barriers to physical activity. Active living is a growing field that emerged from the early work of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with the release of the Surgeon's General Report on Physical Activity and Health in 1996.
