Nettet1. jul. 2009 · I installed Howell's universal kit on my 400 Ford using a Holley 670 TBI. the motor starts and idles good. When I drive the truck there is a tremedous dead spot coming off idle. I have to feather the accelerator just right to get the rpms up to 1500 to 2000. It runs great in the mid range but stutters and stumbles when I get it over 4000 rpm.
