WebNourished for Nil was formed in Hastings in 2024 by Christina McBeth and Louise Saurin, with a mission to rescue food that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute it to the Hawke's Bay community. Their goal is to minimise the food waste in Hawke's Bay and keep the community nourished for nil. WebJane has been part of the Nourished for Nil family for since 2024 when she began driving the vehicles for Supermarket pick ups. Jane can often be seen filling in for volunteers that have a day off, doing critical weekend and public holiday pick ups and now she has secured herself a part-time position on the team.
