WebSwSh was originally to be on the 3ds. Fans at the time (not just Pokémon fans) wanted the 3ds to die. They wanted NOTHING to be made for it, and for all attention to go onto the Switch. So what we got was a 3ds/Switch hybrid Pokémon game that would have been crazy on the 3ds, and lackluster compared to Switch titles. WebNo, probably not. Unless the only console they have is a Switch, there's no need to play the games because they won't lwt you experience what a "traditional" Pokemon game is all about. I'd always recommend a Gen III, IV or V mainline game for that.
